Breaking: 175 Stranded Nigerians In Uganda Arrive Abuja

Not fewer than one hundred and seventy-five (175) Nigerians who were stranded in Uganda on Thursday arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Their arrival was announced on the Nigerians in the Diaspora Commission’s (NiDCOM) official Twitter account.

It stated that the evacuees arrived on Aug. 13, and that they would proceed on a 14-day mandatory self-isolation.

“EVACUATION UPDATE: 175 Stranded Nigerians arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe Int’l Airport, Abuja at about 1305HRS from Uganda, today Thursday, Aug. 13, 2020, via Galistair,” NiDCOM tweeted.

They all tested Negative to #COVID-19 and will proceed on a 14-day SELF-ISOLATION as mandated by @NCDCgov and PTF on #COVID-19.”
