A joint team of emergency responders extinguished the fire before it escalated to more adjoining buildings
Information reaching us at Ekohotblog says that the fire started around 8am and destroyed the entire first floor of the residential building.
When contacted, the Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Nosa Okunbor, confirmed the incident, noting that the cause of the fire is unknown but rescue operation is ongoing.
Although, at the time of filing this report, No case of death or injuries have been reported.
