Plateau Records Highest Cases For 7th Consecutive Day As Nigeria COVID-19 Toll Hits 54,000

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Monday disclosed that the country has confirmed 143 new cases of COVID-19.

The agency made the disclosure in its daily situation report of COVID-19 on its official twitter page.

According to the agency, of the 143 new cases, 35 are detected in Plateau, 21 in Kaduna, 19 in Lagos, FCT-13, Ebonyi-9, Adamawa-7, Enugu-7, Katsina-7, Edo-6, Kwara-5, Osun-3, Anambra-2, Kano-2, Niger-2, Ogun-2, Benue-1, Borno-1, Sokoto-1.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 54,008 with 41,638 discharged and
1,013 deaths recorded.
