- Dauda Kahutu Rarara, has declared that he will not sing for President Muhammadu Buhari any longer until Nigerians give him N1000 each.
- He said his decision was prompted by rumors circulating on social media that President Buhari had failed in his administration and that he would not sing again for the benefit of the masses until they paid the price.
Dauda Kahutu Rarara, a renowned Hausa politician who has been known to sing for Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, has said he will not sing for him again until he is paid.
Rarara told the BBC he would only sing for President Buhari again if the masses who voted for him each handed him ₦ 1000.
“The real Buhari lovers who are there, they will give me a thousand naira and I will sing for Buhari,” he said
He said his decision was prompted by rumors circulating on social media that President Buhari had failed in his administration and that he would not sing again for the benefit of the masses until they paid the price.
Dauda Rarara added that he still supports the president.
The singer denied that he was stopped by some people close to President Buhari and that is why he decided to go back to Buhari’s true fans to sponsor the song he is planning to release in a few days.
Rarara has sung a number of songs for the Nigerian president including ‘Runners’, ‘You Are Better Than Baba’, ‘Baba Dodar’, ‘Make Your Father Eight Zarah’ and others.
