Six Shops Burnt In Ogudu, Lagos Fire

Fire raze Six out of seventeen shops at Ogudu Police Barracks in Ogudu axis of Lagos
The Lagos State Emergency Management LASEMA confirmed this.
While 6 shops were totally burnt down, 11 were salvaged due to the timely intervention of the Agency’s Response Team and the Lagos Fire Service.

LASEMA’s spokesman, Okunbor said in a statement, “The cause of fire is however yet to be ascertained and no life was lost.
“Activities conducted in the razed shops by the fire outbreak at dawn involved two fashion design services, a pawn shop, event planning wares shop, a sport betting outlet and a Barber’s shop.

“The fire outbreak has been totally put out by combined efforts of the Agency’s response team and the Lagos State Fire Service,” spokesman of the agency, Okunbor pointed out.
