COVID-19: Lagos, Plateau Top List As NCDC Confirms 213 Fresh Cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Friday disclosed that the country has confirmed two hundred and thirteen new COVID-19 cases.

The agency made the disclosure in its daily update of the virulent infection.

According to the agency, Lagos and Plateau tool more than 100% of all the positive samples with the each state recording 51 cases.

The new development brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria the country to 58,062 with 49,606 discharged and 1,103 fatalities recorded.

The agency, however, said cumulative discharged cases for yesterday includes 364 recovered patients in Katsina State who were managed in the community.
