The Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola has appointed the President and other Executive Members of the Lagos State Public Service Club, who will govern the affairs of the club for the next two years, to ensure that they enact themselves as good diplomats of the State Public Service.
Affirming at the inauguration of the new executive members of the club, Muri-Okunola remarked that some of the executive members were reinstated due to good enactment while in office and charged them to guide the new members among them suitably.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that the HoS, who was exemplified at the inauguration ceremony by the Permanent Secretary, Public Service Office, Mr. Samson Ajibade, stated that leadership is about commitment, advising the new executive members to uplift the club by demonstrating responsibility and efficient leadership; entrenching equity and justice amongst the members of the club.
He conserved that being ambassadors of the Lagos State Government, they should ensure that they do their very best and add value as their bequest, adding that they should not be found wanting in the delivery of their respective legitimate responsibilities as public servants.

Conceding on behalf of other executive members, the President of the Club, Mr. Olufemi Ajenifuja thanked the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his steadfastness in ensuring that the Lagos State Public Service Club regains its past glory, stressing that he was overwhelmed with all the support rendered by the present administration to the club.
Ajenifuja convinced the Lagos State Government that the new executive members will improve on the legacies and shall never be found wanting in discharging their assigned official duties at their respective Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.
“Sir, we pledge to return the confidence you have reposed in us and promise to deliver optimally and see to the development of the club”, he promised.
