He struck again in the 28th minute as he scored from close range to give Borussia Dortmund the 2-1 lead before Nico Elvedi scored in the 32nd minute to bring the scoreline to 2-2 at half time.
Ramy Bensebaini restored Monchengladbach’s lead at the start of the second half as he scored in the 49th minute to make it 3-2 for his side.
Marcus Thuram sealed the match win for Borussia Monchengladbach as he scored in the 78th minute to make it 4-2 at full time.
