Job Title: Head, Inventory / Stores

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Role

  • To design and implement an Inventory Tracking System, receiving all supplies and reviewing levels of stock to meet the organizational goals. Ensuring quality and quantity are not compromised.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an Inventory Management Manual which includes process and policies.
  • Receipt of all purchased items whilst ensuring the agreed quality and quantities are met and signed off by the requesting teams.
  • Manages requisitions and relates with Procurement appropriately.
  • Records daily deliveries in a structured manner.
  • Overall oversight on all goods in stores/warehouse of the company.
  • Develop a system to track Stock-in/Stock-out from all stores of the organization.
  • Examine levels of stock to determine shortages.
  • Maintain company-agreed reorder levels.
  • Liaise with all depts and procurement to ensure timely delivery of goods and/or services.
  • Approve all inventory demands.
  • Submit periodic inventory report to the company’s leadership.

Requirements

  • A professional with minimum of 12 years experience in transport/logistics or manufacturing industry handling multiple stores. An MBA & certification in Inventory Management is an added advantage.
  • Bachelor’s Degree qualification.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • In-depth Knowledge of Inventory management of a Logistics/Transport company operations.
  • Data analysis and forecasting techniques.
  • Ability to use ERP and automation to drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Attention to detail.
