The former Manchester United forward is enjoying is third season in serie A with Juventus and thinks he has to give back to the club that give him opportunity and believes in his ability, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
In a recent interview the former Real Madrid forward said :
“I will definitely retire at Sporting Lisbon. I have to give them even if it is one season of my service.
Sporting Lisbon gave me a chance when nobody saw something special about me. They made me and Manchester united polished me.
I love all my former football Clubs for what they did for me, but the beginning is always the light, without Sporting Lisbon I would be probably working at McDonald’s, because McDonald’s is the place where I used to get help for food when I had nothing to eat. I am always grateful.”
Many are happy with his decision to return to Sporting Lisbon and retire at the club that gave him a chance at football.
