The Osun State Government lift a banner for the commencement of the Olaiya Fly-Over Bridge.
The bridge cover a total distance of 625m and the actual cost of the project is 2.7billion naira.
Based on people’s comments and commendation to the government, it was said that the idea of the fly over bridge at Olaiya, a place which serves as the center of movement in Osogbo.

People coming from Ile-Ife and going to Ilorin and a route to ibadan passes through this junction.
Many accident has happened and people died. So, this call for the fly over bridge.
Someone said, that is an improvement to Osogbo the state capital and the fly over will ease movement of people and vehicle and at the same time reduce traffic.
The project is stipulated to be completed within 9 months of start, and the people of Osogbo should expect a shut down of Olaiya route until the completion of the project as road will be diverted.
