Job Title: Fireman
Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Job Summary
- To perform as a firefighter and a fire watchman at the Ikorodu Mill, watch for fire overall operations.
- To drive the truck in case of emergencies and ensure the truck is always ready to use.
Job Responsibilities
- Firefighting, operate rescue equipment, use fire hoses, hydrants etc.
- Perform fire watch overall operations, raise alarm in case of fire and conduct put out operations.
- Perform inspecting and maintaining of equipment
- Inspecting building for fire safety and enforcing safety standards
- Performing practice drills
- Working with ambulance service personnel
- Undertaking physical and academic training.
Requirements
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma or related Degree
- Trained for emergencies, that can put out all kinds of fires, use of fire hoses, hydrants etc.
- That can drive the fire truck and has driver’s license
- Physically fit
- Literate and can do inspections
- Good communication skills
- Certified in Fire-fighting
- Energetic individuals who are passionate about rendering service.
