Expresses gratitude to the outgoing executives for visiting him during his enthronement
The Alara of Ilara Kingdom, HRM Oba Olufolarin Ogunsanwo, has admonished the newly inaugurated executive of Epe Club to use their exalted positions to build a mutually beneficial relationship with the Lagos State Government for the overall growth and development of the Epe Division.
The monarch issued the admonition during the club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) which he participated in.

In his brief address at the gathering, he reminisced on the Courtesy Visit the Leadership/Delegation of the Club paid him in his Royal Palace at Ilara, to felicitate with him on his ascension to the throne; thereby thanking the Club for such gesture.
Ekohotblog gathered that Oba Ogunsanwo congratulated the outgone President, Haji Taoheed Olowo Fowosere, for his strides and laudable achievements recorded by the Club during his glorious stint.

While congratulating the New President, Engr Rasheed A. Shabi and his Executive Council, His Royal Majesty also charged them to ensure they commit themselves to the advancement of the ideals and goals of the Club, the progress of the Club and at large, Epe Division.
He also promised to contribute his token towards the Completion of the Ongoing Club Complex.

The new Executive members is led by the President, Engineer Adebola Rasheed Shabi with Niyi Uthman and Oluwo Akim Durojaye as Vice President and General Secretary respectively.
The account books of the Club is entrusted to Obansere Fatai Olakunle and the Financial Secretary is Isiaka Ibrahim. The PRO, Ogunlari Adeyemi returned for the 3rd consecutive time having served as Secretary and Assistant General Secretary under various Presidents while Akogun Ademola Lawal and Agbomeji Aderounmu are the Chief Whip and Legal Adviser respectively.

The newly inducted members in company of friends and well wishers took turns to take and sign oaths of the Club. Notable among them are; Taiwo Kazeem Adekunke, Muritala Abolore Seriki, Muhammed Olayinka Amuni, Adekunle Dipe, Olanrewaju Moshood (Bob Tarner) and Onafowote Fatai.

Others include Prof Olusola Akeushola, Atiku Taiwo, Olusola Tobun, Ogunbajo Obafemi, Alausa Wasiu, Barrister Olawale Alaba, Kazeem Olabode Lawaland Engr Adebote Monday Dare.
