Unfortunately, Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspurs of London were one of the teams who took home the downs, as they produced a below-par performance against a less fancied Dynamo Zagreb side whose coach was locked up just some weeks ago in prison because of tax-related issues.

Tottenham Hotspurs went into the game feeling comfortable as they won 2-0 in the first leg at the new White Hart Lane, but facing an inspired Zagreb side made Tottenham look like shadow of themselves as the Dynamo team raced to a 2-0 win and forced an extra time where Mislav Orsic completed his hat-trick thereby sending Tottenham home just the round of 16 level.

After the game Mourinho expressed his displeasure about his team’s performance, but did not transfer this anger on the Dynamo Zagreb team.
