Prominent Radio Presenter Crushed To Death On Highway While On His Way To Work

The Unique F.M, 103.1, Ilesa, Osun State was thrown into mourning on hearing the death of one their talented radio presenters
He was involved in a ghastly road accident while returning home from radio program he anchored till 10:45 PM on 21st March, 2021
He was rushed to the hospital but later gave up the ghost on 22nd March, 2021

A prominent Radio Presenter in Nigeria has just been announced dead after he was crushed to death on a highway.

The presenter, known to be Sunday Alakinde, both a presenter and newscaster of Unique 103.1 FM, in Ilesa, Osun State was said to have been crushed while he was trying to crossover at the Akure-Ilesha expressway.

As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG , the information was revealed to the public by the Chairman of Osun State Chapter of Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (FIBNAN), Adekunle Abolade Dodoede.

According to Dodoede, he explained that Sunday was coming from Ijebu-Ijesha, where he had a concert, and he was going back to Ilesha where he had a program, however, he was hit by a luxurious bus, and that ended both his life and career.

After hearing about the incident, family and friends have been mourning him, and this is majorly because he’s well known in Osun State through his radio programs, hence, people were shocked to hear about the news.
