PHOTOS: Super Eagles Hosted To Lunch At Ilashe During Boat Ride From Benin Republic

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have returned to the country following their victory over Benin Republic in Port Novo, where they were awarded a ticket to the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Super Eagles showed character by defeating the Squirrels in dramatic fashion thanks to a late header from Paul Onuachu.

On Sunday afternoon, the team led by Ahmed Musa and William Troost-Ekong arrived in Lagos by boat to begin preparations for the game against the Lesotho Crocodiles at the Teslim Balogun Stadium.

Before returning to their hotel on Victoria Island, Gernot Rohr’s management, the players, and the entire technical crew stopped in Ilashe to enjoy some delicacies at one of the Beach Houses for lunch and relaxation, EKO HOT BLOG  gathered.

Gernot Rohr, in particular, was seen with a renowned Nigerian beer, while the majority of the players drank water or non-alcoholic beverages.

On Monday evening, the team will visit the Teslim Balogun stadium to complete preparations for the dead rubber match against Lesotho in front of the soccer-crazed Lagosians.
