Shehu Sani Blasts Those Praising Yinka Odumakin, Read What He Said They Did When He Was Alive

  • Many Nigerians responded adequately to the eye-opening message from Shehu.
  • While some commended the Senator for this truthfulness, many expressed sadness at the reality of life

Shehu Sani has today, taken out time to send a controversial message online, blasting some set of politicians that are praising and extolling the late Yinka Odumakin, a Civil Society Member, Activist for Human Rights, and the National Secretary of the Afenifere, a socio-cultural group in the Southwest.

Recall that several news outlets had reported about the death of Yinka, with many suggesting that he died due to complications involving his lungs.

EKO HOT BLOG had exclusively reported that the socialite had died as a result of different complications arising from his recent contraction of the dreaded Covid-19 virus that is currently ravaging Nigeria, and the world in general.

However, irrespective of how the media warrior died, many top Nigerians have continued to throw tributes and accolades at him, including those whom the Activist had serially criticized with words while he was alive.

The Presidency also shared its own condolence, describing Yinka with lovable and honourable words and adjectives.

In view of all these, Shehu Sani took to his Twitter handle to lament at the perceived hypocrisy from some of the elites, alleging that they were praising the Socialite because he was now dead.

According to Shehu , While he was alive, they castigated him, made him feel like the villain, defamed him for every statement that he released. They saw him as a problem, and an irritant to them.

He furthered that while he was alive, they never answered his calls, now that he is dead, they are all praising him.
