Job Title: Child Care Specialist

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Details

• The child care specialist is responsible for the general safety of the children and supervision of children’s actions.

Responsibilities

• Caring for Infants and toddler
• Preparing canned food, drinks and snacks for kids and ensuring that they are done with great personal hygiene.
• Monitoring and supervising children’s play actions.
• Changing of diapers and ensuring the child is clean at all times
• Teaching eating manners, clothing and behaviors to children.
• Providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere for overall development.
• Reading stories and teaching basic skills like singing, painting, writing and teaching various activities to engage their brains.
• Developed and supervised children during play activities for improving their physical fitness.
• Updated development of physical and mental development of children to the parents.
• Ensured that there is no threat of any kind to children in and around the facility and every child is taken care of.
• Taught children how to maintain hygiene and perform daily basic routines.

Qualification/Experience

• NCE (National Certificate in Education, OND obtained through full time studies

Job Title: Driver

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Details / Responsibilities

• Driving children and staff daily to their desired destinations
• Maintaining the vehicle safe and clean
• Using navigation apps to determine the best route
• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
• Pick up kids from their homes and drive them home after school
• Obey all traffic rules and regulation
• Maintain speed limit set by the institution
• Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic needed
• Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders
• Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues
• Assist in other jobs as will be directed by supervisor

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Driver
• A valid driver’s license
• Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
• Availability to occasionally take weekend shifts
• A polite and professional disposition
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
• A high school diploma
