Tiwa Savage Says She’s Embarrassed To Be A Nigerian

Perhaps dwelling on some of the socio-political issues in the news about Nigeria, music star, Tiwa Savage, has said she is embarrassed to be a Nigerian.

Speaking on constant abuse and assault of women, the latest of which had to do with Senator Elisha Abbo in an Abuja sex toy shop, the former Mavin Records star took to social media to decry the happenings while stating her embarrassment.

In a series of post on InstaStories on Wednesday, the mother of one wrote: “Today I am actually embarrassed to be a Nigerian. The way women are treated is DISGUSTING,” she wrote in parts.

Another female entertainer, Adesua Etomi, had decried the treatment of women in Nigeria, writing on Wednesday that being a woman in the country is unbelievably harder.
