The Police in Jigawa State has arrested a 25-year-old woman, Hadiza Musa, for the alleged killing of her husband.
Police spokesman ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the arrest to newsmen on Wednesday.
He said the incident happened on Tuesday evening at Maradawa village in Kazaure Local Government Area when the suspect in a state of anger used a wooden mortar to attacked her husband Isah Mohd over a small misunderstanding.
Adam said the victim sustained injuries on his head which subsequently resulted in his death.

He said the victim was taken to Kazaure General Hospital where he was confirmed dead.
“The case is under investigation and will be charged to court,” he assured.
