- A popular Lagos monarch is dead.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Olu of Iju Ishaga, His Royal Highness Abass Amole Ajibode, has been pronounced dead.
It was gathered that the late Lagos monarch passed away at the age of 88.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Oba Ajibode was one of the most revered traditional rulers in the Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area of Lagos State.

The monarch was, however, pronounced dead on Saturday, July 31, 2021, few weeks to his 15th coronation anniversary slated for September 19, 2021.
