Job Title: Accounting Intern

Job Description
Finance Functions:
- Ensure proper documentation and posting on Quickbooks in line with office policy
- Substantiate financial transactions with source documents
- Reconcile payables and receivables accounts
- Monitor Payables and receivables are in line with acceptable standards
- Carry out the bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Petty Cash management
- Invoicing of goods in line with approved standards
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions
- Maintain bank accounts and officer relationship
- Provide a schedule for audit purposes
- Carry out any other task as may be assigned by the head of the team
Admin Functions:
- Management of office consumables
- Maintenance of all office equipment
- Scheduling of servicing, repairs and replacements when necessary
- Management of vendors/artisans
- Maintenance of vendor database
- Monitor Office assistants
Qualifications
- B.Sc in Accounting or Finance
- 0 – 1 year experience
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- Attention to detail and a problem solver
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
- Team player and collaborator
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.
Salary
N40,000 Allowance Monthly.
