AFRIMA 2021: Wizkid Wins Big (See Winners List)

• Wizkid has been awarded as Artiste of the year at AFRIMA 2021
• Wins two other awards 

Ekohotblog reports that Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has yet again been awarded as Artiste of the year at 2021 edition of All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) while scooping 2 other awards. 

This is coming barely a week after winning the Best African Act award at the 2021 BET awards.

AFRIMA is an annual event that celebrates the achievements of musicians and singers across the African continent.

The show was hosted by Eddie Kadi and Pearl Thusi, and witnessed singing performances from Patoranking, Chike, Olakira, D’banj among others.

Wizkid won three awards out of the four nominations he got in this year’s AFRIMA.

Best Artiste, Duo, or Group in African R & B Soul – Nikita Kering

Best African Female Artiste in Inspirational Music.- Shanah Manjeru

Africans Fan’s Favorite – Fireboy DML

Best Duo African Hip hop award alongside Cheque – Fireboy DML

Best African Collaboration – Wizkid

Album of the year – Iba One

African Male Artiste in Inspirational Music – Iba One

Best Song Writer – Iba One

Best Male Artiste from Western Africa – Iba One

Best Producer of The Year – Beatz

Best Artiste or Duo in African Dance or Choreography – Favour alongside Diamond Platnumz and Fally Ipupa
