Human Capital Partners (HCP) – Our client, a leading Financial Services provider, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Analyst

Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • Provide support to project teams aiming to ensure succinct operational processes are maintained whilst enabling business growth, contributing to data improvements, managing risk and simplifying business process.

Responsibilities

  • Support the management of the organisation’s project portfolio(s).
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis on the various projects and develop presentation materials for the Portfolio Manager.
  • Proactively monitor and report business project activities, providing up-to-date periodic report to the Portfolio Manager.
  • Conduct analysis and provide holistic information on deviations, trends and changing landscape as it applies to the project portfolio.
  • Ensure project milestones, contracts, commitment and terms are complied with.
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets, prepare progress reports, and liaise with key stakeholders i.e. Finance, Audit, Risk management etc.
  • Take responsibility for project costs variance reporting and commitment control.
  • Support the continuous review/monitoring of the project portfolio(s) in order to proactively escalate red flags.
  • Develop relationships with both internal and external counterparties to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
  • Play a key role in procuring high-quality and cost-efficient supplies/services.
  • Perform administrative duties; minute taking, end to end business support within the procurement process flow.

Requirements

  • First Degree from a reputable university
  • Minimum of 2 years experience cognate experience
  • Broad knowledge about back office processes, asset management and service providers.
  • Counterparty/Credit Risk experience with exposure to Financial market/Infrastructure projects.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Good negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • High level of personal and professional integrity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organized, and able to handle multiple tasks and deliver to deadlines.
