EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 253,405 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated February 2, the NCDC reports 65 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 7 states – Lagos-19, Kano-16, Rivers-12, FCT-11, Kaduna-4, Niger-2 and Delta-1.

According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Nasarawa, Sokoto and Zamfara.

It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 229,676 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 3,136.
