EKO HOT BLOG reports that former Cardiff manager, Neil Warnock, lashed out at Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, over his comments following the Blues’ Champions League quarter-final first leg 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid on Wednesday night.

Chelsea were humiliated at Stamford Bridge, thanks to Karim Benzema’s hat-trick. Thomas Tuchel claims Chelsea’s Champions League hopes are already over following their 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid at Stamford Bridge.

However, speaking after his side’s defeat, Tuchel said at his post-match press conference that the Champions League last-8 fixture is over for Chelsea ahead of the second leg, insisting that his team will get ‘hammered’ in Spain next week.

But Warnock has now slammed Tuchel’s post-match comments, claiming it was the ‘worst interview’ the German has given since arriving at Chelsea from Paris Saint-Germain.

He noted that Tuchel should not put the ‘white flag up’ before the second leg tie at the Santiago Bernabeu.
“That is probably the worst I have heard from Tuchel in an interview since he has been at Chelsea,” Warnock told talkSPORT.

“I know it’s 3-1 and it is almost impossible, but if you have seen these games, turn on some silly coin and a goal early doors so you can’t just put the white flag up.
“He didn’t sound good last night.”
