EKO HOT BLOG reports that three people were killed and numerous others were injured in Kwara State’s Offa Local Government Area on Sunday after hoodlums allegedly battled over a lady.

This online media platform gathered that the hoodlums clash over girlFriend began Saturday night.

Alhaji Abdulrahman, a resident of Offa, informed said that the hoodlums clash over girlFriend occurred between the hoodlums of Isale Oja and Oja Oba.

According to him, one of the group leaders was said to have snatched the girlfriend of a member of the rival group which led to the clash, and the development led to the chaotic event that claimed the life of three persons whose identities are yet to be revealed.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Ajayi Okasanmi, however, confirmed the death of two hoodlums, adding that the investigation was still ongoing.

“Just before the Policemen arrived at the scene, two of the warring gangster groups, Samad Adeyemi, 21, and Abdulahi Mohammed, 20, have been shot dead.

“However, an investigation into the incident is still ongoing,” he stated in a statement.
