EKO HOT BLOG reports that Manchester United have made a ‘verbal approach’ for Milan forward Rafael Leao.
United are interested in Rafael Leao but will have to face competition from PSG for his signature.
The 22-year-old forward has been in fine form for Milan. Rafael has been one of the driving forces behind the Rossoneri’s push for the league title this campaign, who need only a point to win the Serie A after 11 years.
Rafael has scored 11 and assisted seven goals in the league and is their top scorer.
On the back of a solid campaign, Portugal international is naturally attracting interest from Europe’s biggest teams, with Man United and PSG both reportedly showing interest.
But the Portuguese attacker won’t come cheap, with the aforementioned report claiming the Rossoneri could ask for €100m if they seal the league title.
This could put off Man United, who could be on a tight budget due to their failure of qualifying for the next campaign’s UCL.
PSG need to sign a new attacker to replace Kylian Mbappe, who is heading to Real Madrid on a free transfer at the end of the campaign.
