EKO HOT BLOG reports that Ladipo Johnson, a Lagos lawyer, has been chosen as the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) for the 2023 election.
Mr Johnson was a previous Alliance National Party (ANP) governorship candidate in Lagos State before joining the NNPP.
On Saturday, the party made the announcement via its official Twitter account.

“Road to 2023: Bar Ladipo Johnson is the Vice Presidential candidate of our great party,” the tweet read.
The news comes only hours after Doyin Okupe, the Labour Party’s (LP) “placeholder” vice-presidential candidate, announced his party and the NNPP were in negotiations about creating a coalition for the 2023 elections.
