EKO HOT BLOG reports that a gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Osun State and a former deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Lasun Yusuf has raised alarm over the invasion of his home by gunmen.

The gubernatorial candidate who made this known via Twitter on Monday morning said armed men were shooting sporadically in his residence in Ilobu, Irepodun local government area of Osun State.

It was gathered that the gunmen reportedly launched the attack around 2 am.

The distress message by Lasun read; “Just in: gun men in uniforms are presently in my residence shooting sporadically…”
