Osun: Wike, Makinde Absent As Atiku, Okowa, Others Storm Osogbo For PDP Rally

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Samuel Ortom of Benue State and the former of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, were absent on Thursday as the Peoples Democratic Party held its rally in Osun State.
The presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar, the party National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, and some Governors of the party stormed Osogbo on Thursday to support the party’s governorship candidate, Ademola Adeleke.
Wike, who has remained silent on the activities of the party, was absent as the party hope to win the governorship election which has been scheduled for the 16th of July.
The Rivers State Governor had travelled out last week alongside some Governors to celebrate his son’s graduation from university in the United Kingdom.
Some of the dignitaries in attendance at the PDP rally include Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, PDP Deputy Chairman, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, former Vice President, Namadi Sambo, ex-Senate President, Bukola Saraki, deputy governor of Benue, Benson Abounu, Vice Chairman, PDP, Southwest, Soji Adagunodo, Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, Douye Diri of Bayelsa State and others.
