EKO HOT BLOG reports that the
Hon. Ishaya Bakano, the deputy leader of the Song Local Government Legislative Council in Adamawa State, has been killed.
Early on Saturday morning, a group of gangsters ambushed the local councilman and shot him to death.
Ishaya, who was representing Gudu Mboi Ward, was whisked from his residence at Bannga, in Song LGA and shot dead by the suspected gunmen, sources said.
A source disclosed the gunmen also shot the son of the deceased who is receiving treatment at a hospital in the council headquarters Song.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for Adamawa State, SP Suleiman Nguroje, confirmed the incident
