The abductors of a former Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor are demanding a ransom.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that a former Senior Special Assistant to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, Richard Omosehin, was kidnapped on Saturday.

The incident has been confirmed by Ondo State Police Command on Monday. The command said it has an investigation into the matter while the search to rescue the victim is ongoing.
According to reports, ex-aide Omosehin was abducted at his residence in Igbekebo, the headquarters of Ese Odo Local Government Area of the state.
The incident was said to have happened around 2am when the abductors who came in numbers stormed the house of the victim. They were said to have come in a speed boat where they dragged Omosehin into and fled.
“The incident happened at about 2am on Saturday. Immediately, people invited the police, but by the time the policemen arrived at the place, the kidnappers had taken the man (victim) away, ” a source said.
While also confirming the incident, the monarch of Igbekebo town, Oba Simon Dabo, revealed that the victim was allowed to reach out to his wife and the gunmen demanded N100M for him to be released.
