EKO HOT BLOG reports that Canada has pledged to send 200 Senator Armoured Personnel Carriers (APC) to Ukraine, Canadian Defence Minister Anita Anand announced on a visit to Kyiv on Wednesday.
Ms Anand met with Ukrainian officials, including her counterpart defence minister Oleksii Reznikov, and discussed how Canada could continue helping Kyiv and updated the Ukrainian official on Operation UNIFER, Canada’s training mission for Ukrainian soldiers.

The two defence ministers will meet again on Friday in Rammstein, Germany, where Kyiv’s allies will meet to discuss further military assistance.
The Senator APC shipments constitute the largest deployment of military vehicles to date.
