The three agents, Egbomuche Nwoke, Bartram Iwuala and another whose name is not yet known, were arrested at the Isiala Mbano LGA collation centre in Umuelemai during the collation of results on Sunday.
The three LP agents were taken away by police officers in vehicles, to the state command headquarters at the time while the collation of results was still ongoing.
The has been outrage on social media and in the state as many view this as a ploy to intimidate LP and rig the elections.
Results so far collated showed that the candidate of the Labour Party in the federal constituency, Chikwem Onuoha, is leading.
