Eko Hot Blog reports that the Governor of Plateau State and  Director General of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, Simon Lalong, has lost his polling unit to the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, during the election conducted on Saturday.

Announcing the results of the election, the presiding officer of the polling unit, Sowan Stephen, announced that Obi secured 104 votes to defeat his challengers, including the All Progressives Congress candidate, Bola Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Rabiu Kwankwaso of New Nigeria People’s Party.
