EKO HOT BLOG reports that a Supreme Court judgement on Monday affirmed the candidacy of Chijioke Edeoga as the Labour Party governorship candidate for Enugu State.
This online media platform gathered that the apex court declared Edeoga as the authentic governorship candidate of the party in the state.

Edeoga’s candidature was challenged by Everestus Nnaji.
The judgement follows an earlier verdict from a Federal High Court in Abuja ordering a fresh primary election in the party.
But Edeoga went further to challenge the High Court’s judgment at the Appeal Court and won.
However, Nnaji proceeded to the Supreme Court to reverse the Appellate Court’s judgement, but it didn’t go in his favour.
