Fadeyi Oloro was a popular figure in the Nigerian movie industry, particularly in the Yoruba genre, where he played the roles of a herbalist with a trademark costume and makeup that portrayed him as a terrifying character.
His darkened face, often enhanced by heavy makeup, added to his onscreen persona as a fearsome and menacing figure.
Unlike some of his counterparts who relied on long and winding chants and incantations to convey their character’s message, Fadeyi Oloro was known for his violent and forceful acting style.
In his performances, he rarely relied the use of lines to dictate his actions, instead preferring to let his actions and the sound of gunfire speak for him. May his soul rest in peace.
