The APC National Working Committee has unveiled the zoning formula for National Assembly seats.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has finally unveiled its much-awaited zoning formula for leadership positions in the upcoming 10th National Assembly.
In a statement signed by Barr. Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the party, the National Working Committee of the party, announced the positions of Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives, naming Senator Godswill Akpabio and Tajudeen Abass, respectively.

The statement revealed that the party’s National Working Committee had considered reports of consultations and meetings with President-Elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, other party leaders, and stakeholders on the zoning arrangement for the leadership positions.
The NWC also called for further consultations with all necessary stakeholders to ensure the support of aspirants to the National Assembly leadership positions and party members across the country.


The zoning arrangement is as follows:
SENATE:
1. Senate President – South-South– Senator Godswill Akpabio (Akwa-lbom).
2. Deputy Senate President – North West-Senator Barau Jubrin (Kano).
