Isiak, who claims to have submitted her resignation on multiple occasions last year, stated that her request has remained unapproved by the Force. She took to Twitter to express her surprise at being detained without undergoing any interrogation.

According to her tweets, Isiak was called in for an interview on Wednesday, only to find herself being detained instead.

She expressed her disappointment and mentioned that she had expected her resignation to finally be approved. Instead, she was informed that she would be detained, tried, and subsequently dismissed from the police force.

In response to her claims, Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, stated that Isiak had been absent from her duty for approximately a month, making her a deserter. He accused her of disregarding the conditions of service that she had willingly agreed to when she joined the police force.
