Obi, Atiku Absent In Court

Eko Hot Blog reports the absence of the Petitioners of the February 25, presidential elections, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP)’s Peter Obi at the ongoing court proceedings in Abuja.

The two presidential candidates of their respective parties, are questioning the declaration of the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s Bola Tinubu as the winner of the 2023 presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

LP’s Julius Abure was at the court to represent the LP candidate, Peter Obi, however, Vice President Kashim Shettima introduced himself as the first responder alongside the APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje.

The petitioners and responders introduced themselves when the Chairman of the the Tribunal Justice Haruna Tsammani requested the identification of both parties at the Appeal Court.
