Lagos Launches Online Payment, Registration For Model Colleges, Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools

Eko Hot Blog reports that the Lagos State Government has commenced the online payment and registration process for the screening test into the State Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools for the 2024/2025 academic session.

In a statement signed by Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu, the Director of the Lagos State Examinations Board, parents, guardians, and school owners were informed that the payment and registration for the entrance examination into the 16 Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools has begun and will end on May 11, 2024.

Orunsolu urged applicants to strictly adhere to the guidelines and procedures for payment and registration as indicated on the portal. He stated, “To register, applicants must log into the Lagos State Examinations Board’s Portal: https://examsboard.lagosstate.gov.ng, then click on SCREENING TEST/MODEL COLLEGE button.”

Eligibility for the test is limited to primary six pupils of public and private schools, with a registration fee of ₦10,000 per candidate.

The entrance examination will be conducted through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) at various designated centers across the state from May 28 to May 31, 2024. Orunsolu assured applicants of a stress-free and seamless registration process.

The Director’s statement emphasized, “He also stated that only primary six pupils of public and private schools are eligible to register for the test with a sum of ₦10,000 per candidate.”
