Joshua Dismisses Retirement Rumours Despite Defeat To Dubois

Anthony Joshua has revealed that he has no plans to retire from boxing, despite his loss to Daniel Dubois in Saturday’s IBF World Heavyweight Title fight.

Dubois dominated the bout, knocking Joshua down in nearly every round before sealing the victory with a powerful counter right hand in the fifth round.

Speaking at the post-fight press conference, the 34-year-old two-time heavyweight world champion made it clear that he intends to keep fighting.

“You’re probably wondering if I still want to continue – of course I do,” Joshua said, reaffirming his commitment to the sport.

‘’That’s what I said, we took a shot at success and we came up short. What does that mean now – are we going to run away or are we going to live to fight another day?
