During her screening today, Kekere-Ekun was joined by members of the judiciary from different courts and her relatives.

The screening process began just over 24 hours after President Bola Tinubu formally submitted a letter to the Senate, urging them to move forward with the confirmation of Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun as the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).

Tinubu’s request followed the recommendation by the National Judicial Council (NJC), which had endorsed Kekere-Ekun as the most suitable candidate for the position.
