Nations League: Saka Withdraws From England Squad After Injury

Bukayo Saka has withdrawn from the England squad for Sunday’s Nations League clash against Finland and returned to Arsenal for further evaluation after sustaining an injury to his right leg.

The 23-year-old winger was substituted early in the second half during Thursday’s match against Greece.

Saka has been a key player for Arsenal this season, with three goals in 10 appearances across all competitions.

Arsenal’s next fixture is an away game against Bournemouth on 19 October following the international break.

Additionally, Liverpool’s Curtis Jones, who was recently called up to the England squad, has also withdrawn due to a personal matter.

Meanwhile, captain Harry Kane and midfielder Jack Grealish resumed training on Saturday after missing the Greece game due to minor injuries.
