Yesufu, who was part of the 2023 LP presidential campaign council, made this declaration during an appearance on Seun Okinbaloye’s podcast, Mic On.
She also emphasised that she has never sought an appointment, as she prioritizes her financial independence.
“Yesufu explained, “I focused on achieving my financial independence before I began addressing Nigerian issues.
“I am not a member of the Labour Party. I have never been a card-carrying member of any party.
“I challenge anyone—living or deceased—to say that I, Aisha Yesufu, have ever approached them for an appointment, contract, or anything of the sort. I am a trader! I buy, I sell, I distribute, and I build and sell houses.”
