Reece James Returns To Chelsea Training After Injury Setback

Chelsea captain Reece James has returned to first-team training for the first time this season, as reported by Daily Cannon.

While it may still be a few weeks before James is fully match-fit, his return could see him in contention to play against Arsenal in Chelsea’s upcoming fixture, just over three weeks away.

EDITOR’S PICKS

Since his debut in 2019, James has had a mixed record of availability against the Gunners, missing as many league games as he has played. In the 2019/20 season, he missed the away match due to an ankle injury and sat out the home game with a bruise.

He featured in both fixtures in the following two seasons but was absent for the 2022/23 home game with a knee issue and missed the away match due to an ankle injury.
