Notorious crossdresser Okuneye Idris, popularly known as Bobrisky, spent the night in custody at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Alagbon, Lagos State.
A source confirmed to Punch that further directives regarding Bobrisky’s case are pending.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Bobrisky was taken to the FCID for safekeeping after being arrested by officials from the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) while attempting to leave the country through the Seme border.
According to the source, “Bobrisky was brought to the FCID, Alagbon, around 10 p.m. on Monday after being detained by immigration officials.
He was arrested on Sunday, spent the night in custody, and was subsequently transferred to the FCID.”
Mayegun Aminat, the spokesperson for the FCID in Lagos, confirmed the development, stating, “He is currently detained at FCID Alagbon. We are in the process of obtaining a remand to keep him in custody today.”
Kenneth Udo, spokesperson for the NIS, described Bobrisky as a person of interest concerning recent public concerns.

In a statement released on Monday evening, Udo said, “In keeping with its commitment to border security, the Nigeria Immigration Service intercepted Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, also known as Bobrisky, at the Seme Border during his attempt to exit the country.
He is undergoing interrogation and will be handed over to the appropriate authorities for further action.
The Service assures the public of its commitment to conducting its duties in a civil and professional manner.”
