Nigerian actor Ime Bishop, popularly known as Okon of Lagos, has criticised the increasing trend of plastic surgery among young women.
He expressed his concerns, stating that altering one’s body goes against God’s original design.

Bishop questioned why individuals feel the need to take on the role of “project supervisor” for God’s creation, suggesting that people are attempting to improve upon something that is already perfect. In a social media post, he urged individuals to appreciate and embrace their natural beauty, which he believes is a divine creation.
He emphasized the potential risks and moral implications of plastic surgery while recognizing personal choice.
