Betta Edu Breaks Silence on Dismissal From Tinubu’s Cabinet

Former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, has spoken out regarding her recent dismissal, asserting that “lies were told” against her.

This statement marks her first public response since her removal by President Bola Tinubu, as Edu maintains her innocence amid allegations of fraud within her former ministry.

On her official X account (formerly Twitter), Edu expressed her views while celebrating her 38th birthday on Sunday, October 27.

She posted, “Happy birthday to the woman Jesus Loves! Soon the world will see the glory of a great God! The lies told to destroy a daughter of Zion will lead to her elevation! Ask Joseph!”
